Usage Instructions

General Guidelines

• Check each sponge before use to ensure it is clean, dry, and free from damage
• Position the sponge to provide stability, comfort, and reduced pressure points
• Place wedge sponges with the slope facing upward when angle support is required
• Use rectangle sponges for elevation, padding, stabilization, or gap filling
• Remove the sponges gently after use

Application Instructions

Head Fixation (MFL2F02)
Place the animal’s head in the V-trough to help maintain a neutral neck position and support an open airway.

Spine and Torso Support (MFL2F03)
Position the wedge under the torso, aligned parallel to the spine, to support lateral or prone positioning during veterinary procedures.

Limb Elevation (MFL2F04)
Place the wedge under the limb to provide a stable 15° elevation angle for support and positioning adjustment.

Padding and Support (MFL2F05 / MFL2F06)
Use individually or stack together to adjust height, fill gaps, and improve localized pressure relief.

Cleaning and Maintenance

To maintain the performance and service life of your veterinary PU foam positioning sponges, please follow these care guidelines:

• Air dry only after cleaning
• Do not expose the sponges to direct heat or sunlight
• Do not autoclave, sterilize, cut, or modify the sponges
• Replace immediately if any sponge becomes cracked, deformed, or damaged
